Our hair oil can stimulate blood circulation in the scalp, and as a result, may promote hair growth. It is known to thicken hair and add shine, and is often used by people who have thin, dull hair.
Our star ingredients:
1 – Rosemary extract (Rosmarinus officinalis)
It may help clean the hair follicles by unclogging them. Clogged follicles often lead to problems like dandruff, and hair fall. It moisturizes a dry scalp, therefore can prevent flaking.
Rosemary extract is also known for its ability to prevent gray hair.
As a matter of fact, a study published in Sin Med Dermatology for the Clinician found that Rosemary was very efficient for hair re-growth. Applied topically twice daily, for 6 months rosemary oil was very effective.
2 – Rice Bran oil ( Oryza Sativa)
Rice bran oil is a very rich source of bioactive phyto-chemicals, which include tocopherols and γ-oryzanol, which has high antioxidant and radical scavenging properties.
3 – Amla oil or Indian Gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica)
Most importantly, it promotes hair manageability, softens, moisturizes skin and hair. It will keep your hair soft and shiny. It may also to be beneficial in treating a variety of skin conditions such as sebum over-production and more.
Amla oil is high in vitamin C, therefore may help with hair breakage. It is also extremely rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants help keep hair and follicles healthy by fighting off the damage-causing free radicals.
4 – Grapeseed Oil
Grapeseed oil (of Vitis vinifera) is an emollient, soothes skin and unclogs hair follicles and moisturizes hair. Moreover, it acts as a lubricant, coating and conditioning strands to improve smoothness and shine.
5 – Licorice Extract
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) has antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergy properties. In addition, this extract also has inhibitory effects of testosterone 5α-reductase.
Moreover, it is said to alleviate irritated scalp symptoms like scalp dryness, itching and micro-inflammation.
6 – Safflower Oil
Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) oil is rich in fatty acids and uniquely high in behenic acid. Its vitamin E content contributes to the quick absorbing, softening and nourishing effects it has on the hair, scalp and skin. Moreover, it prevents hair brittleness and breakage.
Safflower oil contains fatty acids, which are highly beneficial for soothing and conditioning the scalp and hair.
The antioxidant and nourishing properties of this wonderful oil are known to protect the hair against the harsh effects of environmental stressors, such as UV rays and pollution.
7 – Vetiver EO
Vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides) oil is used to balance the activity of the sebaceous oil glands as well as and helping normalize oily scalp. It is also said to be antibacterial and anti-fungal.
This oil can improve blood circulation in the hair follicles and prevents various hair conditions. Moreover, it is extremely useful for rejuvenating dull, lifeless hair.
Additionally, regular use of the oil improves hair texture, adds shine and can stimulate hair.
This oil is also capable of replenishing moisture in dry and dehydrated hair.
